European Pubs Ltd to open its 3rd venue in Méribel

In 1993, nestled in Méribel, the heart of the 3 Valleys in the Savoie region, Jack’s Bar was born. European Pubs Ltd (EPL) purchased the venue in 2004, and the already popular piste-side bar would then become the quintessential alpine après venue with live music, comedy, parties and good times. EPL then threw Evolution Café Bar & Brasserie into the mix; an idyllic mountain restaurant and bar, serving high quality homemade cuisine, with an ever-evolving cocktail menu and a relaxed atmosphere. But being comfortable is something EPL doesn’t do. Its team is constantly exploring possibilities for the future, and for the company, the future is now, as they are extremely proud and thrilled to announce a third venue to their already impressive portfolio. Located in the centre of Méribel, formerly the site of La Maison and most recently Le Rosset, EPL would like to introduce… Copiña. Copiña will bring a sophisticated and stylish choice for those in resort and will be more than just a bar; it’s intimate layout and size is built for a performance of sorts, showcasing its impressive array of products, each of which have been carefully selected. The cocktails will be created using homemade ingredients and cutting edge techniques, inspired by mixologists from some of the most reputable bars in the industry. The craft beer industry constantly and consistently evolves, and the opportunity to bring such popular products to Méribel was too enticing which is why Copiña will serve a rotating selection of 6 different world beers. With an impressive selection of brews the Copiña family felt it necessary the wine list to be just as notable. The carte du vin will boast over ten wines carefully sourced from all over the world based on merit, not availability, all will be available by the glass offering you the opportunity to indulge yourself in their passion. Not only will this new venue offer innovative cocktails, craft beers on rotation and a list of wines from all corners of the globe, the food will be the fourth piece in the puzzle for Copiña with a menu that will draw influence from Spanish tapas. The new member of the EPL roster will source only the freshest local and finest Spanish ingredients: this is, after all, the Spanish way of dining and the Iberian influence will truly shine through with the food and the atmosphere Copiña intends to radiate.
